23LSQT1211SetupThe unit is in the standby condition when the ACadaptor is connected. The primary circuit isalways “live” as long as the AC adaptor isconnected to an electrical outlet.1 Connect the AC cable to the ACadaptor and the AC outlet.2 Connect the DC cable to the ACadaptor.3 Connect the DC cable to this unit.≥ Do not use the AC cable with any otherequipment as it is designed only for this unit.Do not use the AC cable from other equipmentwith this unit.≥ While the DC cable is connected to the ACadaptor, the battery will not be charged.≥ (SDR-H250) When recording, open the lenscover before turning the unit on. (l 12) If theunit is turned on with the lens cover closed, theautomatic white balance adjustment (l 106)may not function properly.≥ (SDR-H20) When recording, remove the lenscap before turning the unit on.If the unit is turned on with the lens capattached, the automatic white balanceadjustment (l 106) may not function properly.Set the OFF/ON switch to ON.The status indicator A lights and the power turnson.≥ When the unit is turned on for the first time, amessage asking you to set the date and timewill appear. Select [YES] and set the date andtime.
