Contacting with othermetals or batteries may cause the battery to leak,generate heat, rupture, or ignite. (Figure 1)Figure 1. Gas generated from thebattery may irritate the throat, distort the batteryseals, or cause a short circuit, which may lead toleakage, heat generation, rupture or fire. Do notincinerate or heat the battery, or expose to atemperature higher than 100 °C (212 °F). Gasgenerated from the battery may irritate the throat,distort the battery seals, or cause a short circuitinside the battery, which may lead to leakage, heatgeneration, rupture or fire.Avoid contact with leaking batteries. Wash anyaffected body part with plenty of water.
