Do not leave the cover open.≥ If the cover is open, the power will not turn offeven if the OFF/ON switch is set to OFF.≥ If the disc is not correctly inserted, the coverwill not close. Never try to forcibly close thecover. This could cause damage. Reinsert thedisc properly.≥ If a single sided disc is inserted into the unitwith the printed label facing the inside, an errormessage will appear. Remove the disc andreinsert it with its recording/playback sidefacing the inside.≥ Do not allow the recording/playback side tobecome dirty or scratched.≥ Do not remove the battery pack or disconnectthe AC adaptor while removing the disc or untilpower is completely turned off. If you do, thecover will not open. If this happens, reattachthe battery pack or reconnect the AC adaptor,slide the DISC EJECT lever once, and thenrelease it. If the power supply is interrupted atthis time, the disc may become unusable. Donot disconnect the AC adaptor or remove thebattery. Also, do not strongly shake or causeimpact to the unit.If the SD card is inserted or removed while theOFF/ON switch is set to ON, this unit maymalfunction or the data recorded on the SDcard may be lost.
