9 Video Link Network and Video Switch NodesThe video link network consists of one or more video links, which connect one video switch node to another, andpasses analog video across different video switch nodes. The following diagrams show a sample of a video link net-work in a WJ-ASC960 system.Video Link Network DiagramAs shown in the above diagram, a video link has its own direction. You can find video links from digital decoderdevices to matrix video device inputs, from matrix video device outputs to digital encoder devices, and between onematrix video device and another one. In the case of video links between two matrix video devices, these two matrixvideo devices must be in different video switch nodes.Encoder #1Decoder #1WJ-GXE900WJ-GXD900Encoder #2Decoder #2WJ-GXE900WJ-GXD900Matrix Switch 1SX650/SX850 Node 1GX NodeMatrix Switch 2SX650/SX850 Node 2OPERATESTATUSMPEG2 Encoder WJ-GXE9001 2 3 4 5 6 7 8OPERATESTATUSMPEG2 Encoder WJ-GXE9001 2 3 4 5 6 7 8OPERATE1ACT1000100LINK1 STATUS 2 3 4 5 6 7 8MPEG3 Encoder WJ-GXD900OPERATE1ACT1000100LINK1 STATUS 2 3 4 5 6 7 8MPEG3 Encoder WJ-GXD900WJ-SX650 or WJ-SX850*1WJ-SX650 or WJ-SX850*1OPERATEOPERATE LED WILL BLINKIF COOLING FAN MALFUNCTIONSMatrix Switcher WJ-SX 650650OPERATEOPERATE LED WILL BLINKIF COOLING FAN MALFUNCTIONSMatrix Switcher WJ-SX 650650*1 WJ-SX650 needs WJ-PB65E01.WJ-SX650 and WJ-SX850 cannot be set in the same domain.
