Front Viewo HDD Access Indicators (HDD1/HDD2/HDD3/HDD4)Indicates the statuses of the hard disks.Blinks green when the hard disk is accessed respec-tively.When using the RAID 5 function (*1), these indicatorswill display the statuses as follows when an erroroccurs.Lights red: Indicates that the respective hard disk isthe first drive that had an error.Blinks red: Indicates that the respective hard disk isthe second drive that had an error.Lights red and orange alternately: Indicates that therespective hard disk is currently being recovered inthe RAID 5 mode (*1).*1: The RAID 5 function/mode is available only when anoptional RAID card is installed and configured.Refer to the dealer for details.Note: Basically, each indicator will indicate the status ofthe respective hard disk (HDD1/HDD2/HDD3/HDD4). However, all indicators will indicate thesame status when a system error occurs.Important: When the indicator lights red, replace therespective hard disk immediately.If 2 HDD access indicators or more light/blink red, itmay be impossible to recover data on the respec-tive hard disks.Refer to page 24 for descriptions of how to replacethe hard disk.!0 LCDIndicates the status of the unit (error status, etc.) or thename of the functions available using the buttons on thefront panel of the unit.!1 Arrow Buttons (C, D, A, B)Use these buttons to move the cursor or to enter valueson the LCD.
