If you turn onthe answering system and set the ringcount to “2” (page 42), the unit does notannounce the caller’s name. If “Tollsaver” is selected and there is a newmessage, the unit does not announcethe caller’s name.L When you receive a call while on thephone, the 2nd caller’s name is notannounced even if you subscribe to bothCaller ID and Call Waiting with Caller IDservices.L This feature can be turned on or off(page 36).Ringer IDThis feature can help you identify who iscalling by using different ringers fordifferent callers stored in the phonebook.You can assign a different ringer to eachphonebook item. When a call is receivedfrom a caller stored in the phonebook, theringer is used after Caller ID information isdisplayed.If you select “No Ringer ID”, thehandset uses the ringer tone you selectedon page 36 when a call is received fromthat caller.
