Thefrequently used settings you save as profiles are easily adjustable as required.1. Paper SizeDisplays the current Paper Size and OutputPaper Size settings.2. Paper ImageRepresents the current settings, along with theicons shown below.3. IconsRepresent the current settings, along with thepaper image shown above.4. Printer Status... buttonUsed to check the printer status, launch theDevice Monitor, which displays the status.This feature is only available when the printer isconnected over a TCP/IP network.5. ProfilesList the profiles that have been created.DEFAULT is the factory setting. UNTITLED isthe current setting that has not been saved.6. Save as... buttonSave the current settings. The profile is namedand comments can be added before saving.If the name of an existing profile is used, thatprofile is overwritten.Enter 31 single-byte characters or less for theprofile name, 127 or less for the comment.If you select Do not save Paper Size andOrientation, Paper Size and Orientation will notbe saved in the profile. These Paper settings arealso configured in each software applications,so it is advisable to check the Profile box beforesaving the profiles.Note:DEFAULT andUNTITLED cannot be used as profilenames.The new profiles will be saved for all users who log on.However, for Windows 98/Windows Me, profiles aresaved on a per-OS basis.The saved profiles will not be delated when thePCL Driver is uninstalled. The saved user profileswill automatically be recognized if the PCL Driver isinstalled again.
