Before using20VQT0T29Adjusting LCD monitor/viewfinderª Adjusting the brightness and colourlevel1 Set [SETUP] >> [LCD SET] or [EVF SET] >>[YES].2 Move the joystick up or down in order toselect the item to be adjusted.[LCD SET]:Brightness of the LCD monitor:Colour level of the LCD monitor[EVF SET]:Brightness of the viewfinder3 Move the joystick left or right to move thebar indication representing the brightness.4 Press the [MENU] button or the joystick tocomplete the settings.≥When the LCD monitor is rotated by 180°towards the lens, the brightness of the LCDmonitor cannot be adjusted.≥To adjust the brightness of the viewfinder, closethe LCD monitor and extend the viewfinder toactivate it.≥These settings will not affect the images actuallyrecorded.ª In order to increase the brightness ofthe entire LCD monitor1 Press the [POWER LCD] button.≥The [ ] indication appears on the LCDmonitor.≥If the [POWER LCD] button is pressed, theentire LCD monitor will become approx. twiceas bright as the normal.≥When the [POWER LCD] button is pressedagain, the [ ] indication disappears and theoriginal brightness is restored.≥This will not affect the images to be recorded.≥If you turn on the camera when the AC adaptoris used, the [POWER LCD] function willautomatically be activated.≥You cannot use this function in PC ConnectionMode.ª Changing the picture quality on theLCD monitor1 Set [SETUP] >> [LCD AI] >> [DYNAMIC] or[NORMAL].[DYNAMIC]: The image on the LCD monitorbecomes clear and vivid. Optimumcontrast and brightness are setdepending on the scenes recorded.Clear and brilliant images arepresented.[NORMAL]: Switches to the standard picturequality.≥The effect will vary depending on the scenerecorded.≥The picture quality on the viewfinder will not beaffected.≥This function is automatically set to [DYNAMIC]when the brightness of the LCD monitor isincreased (the [ ] indication appears on theLCD monitor) and cannot be set to [NORMAL]independently.≥This will not affect the images to be recorded.≥When the LCD monitor is rotated by 180°towards the lens, the picture quality of the LCDmonitor is temporarily adjusted as if the[LCD AI] is set to [NORMAL].EVFPOWERLCD
