Importantthe monitor by placing your hand orfingers on the LCD panel.• Unplug the monitor if you are notgoing to use it for an extensiveperiod of time.• Unplug the monitor if you need toclean it with a slightly damp cloth.The screen may be wiped with adry cloth when the power is off.However, never use organic solvent,such as, alcohol, or ammonia-basedliquids to clean your monitor.• To avoid the risk of shock orpermanent damage to the set, donot expose the monitor to dust,rain, water, or excessive moistureenvironment.• If your monitor gets wet, wipe itwith dry cloth as soon as possible.• If foreign substance or water gets inyour monitor, please turn the poweroff immediately and disconnectthe power cord. Alwaysactivate a periodic screen refreshapplication if your monitor willdisplay unchanging static content.Uninterrupted display of still orstatic images over an extendedperiod may cause “burn-in”, alsoknown as “after-imaging” or “ghostimaging”, on your screen.• “Burn-in”, “after-imaging”, or“ghost imaging” is a well-knownphenomenon in LCD paneltechnology. In most cases, the“burn-in” or “after-imaging” or“ghost imaging” will disappeargradually over a period of time afterthe power has been switched off.WarningFailure to activate a screen saver, ora periodic screen refresh applicationmay result in severe “burn-in” or “after-image” or “ghost image” symptomsthat will not disappear and cannot berepaired.
