12Bluetooth OperationThrough Bluetooth, connect the Soundbar withyour Bluetooth device (such as an iPad, iPhone,iPod touch, Android phone, or laptop), and thenyou can listen to the audio files stored on thedevice through your Soundbar speakers.What you need• A Bluetooth device which supportsBluetooth profile A2DP, AVRCP and withBluetooth version as 4.2 + EDR.• The maximum operational range betweenthe Soundbar and a Bluetooth device isapproximately 10 meters (30 feet).1 Press the button repeatedly on the unitor press BT button on the remote controlto switch the Soundbar to Bluetoothmode.» The Soundbar’s indicator blinks blue.2 On the Bluetooth device, switch onBluetooth, search for and select PHILIPSHTL3310 to start connection (see theuser manual of the Bluetooth device onhow to enable Bluetooth).» During connection, the Soundbar’sindicator blinks blue.3 Wait until you hear “Paired” voice promptfrom the Soundbar.» If the successfully connected, the Blueindicator will light up solidly.4 Select and play audio files or music onyour Bluetooth device.• During play, if a call is coming, musicplay is paused. Play resumes when thecall ends.• If your Bluetooth device supportsAVRCP profile, on the remote controlyou can press / to skip to atrack, or press to pause/resumeplay.5 To exit Bluetooth, select other source.• When your switch back to Bluetoothmode, Bluetooth connection remainsactive.Note• The music streaming may be interrupted by obstaclesbetween the device and Soundbar, such as wall, metalliccasing that covers the device, or other devices nearbythat operate in the same frequency.• If you want to connect your Soundbar with anotherBluetooth device, press and hold BT/PAIR on theremote control to disconnect the currently connectedBluetooth device.AUX / OPTICAL / HDMIARC OperationEnsure that the unit is connected to the TV oraudio device.1 Press the button repeatedly on theunit or press the AUX, OPTICAL, HDMIARC buttons on the remote to select thedesired mode.2 Operate your audio device directly forplayback features.3 Press the VOL +/– buttons to adjust thevolume to your desired level.Tip• While in OPTICAL/HDMI ARC mode, if there’s nosound output from the unit and the status Indicatorflashes, you may need to activate PCM or Dolby DigitalSignal output on your source device (e.g. TV, DVD orBlu-ray player).
