In either case, the basic con-nection to the TV is very easy.A Cable TV signal may use a cablebox or a direct connection and canreceive up to 125 channels.A UHF/VHF antenna can receivenormal broadcast channels 2–13 forVHF and 14–69 for UHF band sig-nals.Unless your TV is connected to acable TV system or to a centralizedantenna system, a good outdoor colorTV antenna is recommended for bestperformance. But if you are located inan area with an exceptionally goodsignal that is free from interferenceand multiple image “ghosts,” anindoor antenna may be sufficient.ANTENNA /CABLE TV HOOKUPIf the TV signal is from a 75ΩF-type coaxial cable/connector,then you’re ready to connect it to theantenna input on the back of the TV.If you’re using a cable signal with aconvertor box, first connect the cableTV signal to the cable signal IN(put)plug on the converter box.
