116 Cleaning andmaintenance6.1 Cleaning after every useB Warning:Never immerse the appliance in water or anyother liquid, nor rinse it under the tap.1 Press the on/off button on the front of theappliance to switch off the appliance.2 Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.3 Wipe the outside of the coffeemaker with adamp cloth.4 Clean the filter basket and the jug in thedishwasher or with hot water and somewashing-up liquid.4 Turn the knob to set the minutes.5 Press in the centre of the knob to confirmthe minutes.• The timer is set and the brewing processwill start at the preset time.5.5 Drip stop functionThe drip stop function enables you to removethe jug from the coffeemaker before the brewingprocess is finished. When you remove the jug, thedrip stop stops the flow of coffee into the jug.D Note:The brewing process does not stop when youremove the jug.
