32 33REPLAYThis area lets you play back video that is recorded on a Micro SD card insertedinto the camera. If you have not put a card into your camera, attempting to usethis feature will result in a message stating that an error has occurred. While themessage will ask you to try again shortly, if you do not have a memory card in thecamera, you will still not be able to access any video records as they don’t exist.PICTURE 5-12PICTURE 5-13PICTURE 5-14While you can use the Motion Alertsto narrow down the time you wish tosearch, remember that the camera isrecording all of the time, so you arenot limited to just the times that eventnotifications occurred.Use the scroll wheels to locate a dateand time. How far back you can searchis based on how large your SD cardis. A 32GB card is the maximum sup-ported by your camera and it can holdapproximately 7 days’ worth of video.Dates and times that do not have videoare grayed out and not accessbile.Once you have selected your start time, press OK and eView will start access-ing and playing back the video. Once the video starts playing, you will be able torecord or take snapshots just as with live video. To exit Replay, simply tap on Liveto return to the camera’s live view.SHARING VIDEO AND IMAGESSome times, you just need to share. Whether you caught baby’s first step,captured video of your pet doing something spectacular, or just saw somethingScreenshot Recordawesome on the camera, you’ll wantto share that moment. By clickingon either the Screenshot or Recordbutton, you can capture the image orvideo, respectively. After you’ve tappedScreenshot, or after you tap Record asecond time to end the video clip, theShare window will open up. You canchoose to send the file directly to Face-book, Twitter, Instagram (image only) orWeibo. Tapping Share will allow you tosave the file to your phone, or send it ina text or mail message. Once it’s beensaved, you can use any other socialmedia app on your phone to share it tothat service.5.3 EVIEW ON A TABLETThis set of instructions will cover how to use eView on a tablet computer. Yourtablet does not have to have 3G/4G capability, but it must be able to connect toyour network via WiFi.Creating an account and logging into it were covered in Chapter 3, while theprocess of adding a camera to your account was covered in Chapter 4.
