Your NVRmust have a green RS485 block located on theback panel for local control or a similar connectionwhere a remote camera is located. Any cameraso connected must be an IP camera and only thepan-tilt platform will be controlled.• Choose Local or Remote• Adjust settings to match those of the remoteplatform or camera to ensure proper control.4.2 EVENTNow that you’ve set up the recording schedule, you can use the Event window to direct the actions thatthe NVR will take when motion, tampering or loss of video is detected.DETECTIONSMotion EventsThis tab is divided into two parts. The upper portion is for fine-tuning the motion sensitivity of eachcamera while the lower segment controls how the NVR will respond when it detects motion on thatchannel.Channel - Each channel can be individuallyconfigured.Enable - This turns motion detection on or off.Region - You can turn off motion detection incertain areas of the video - such as the areacovering a busy street or a hallway at the baseof a restricted staircase.Motion Detection Regions1. Click the Setup button.2. The camera’s view will appear on screenwith a grid overlay. Areas that are sensitiveto motion detection will have a red hue.3. Click or click-and-drag on an area to make itclear (motion detection off).4. Clicking on the area again will restore motion detection sensitivity.5. Right-click to exit the window.Sensitivity - The sensitivity of this camera can be adjusted from 1-8 with “8” being “Most Sensitive.”
