User Manual205.2.6.3 PTZ Setup5.2.6.4 MobileMobile Phone AccessThe DVR is currently compatible with mobile phones running Windows Mobile and Symbian operatingsystems on 3G networks.Before you can access the DVR from a mobile phone you need to setup the Network Configuration onthe DVR. Go to section 5.2.3 Network Setup on page 14 of the product manual for instructions on how to dothis. You also need to go to the Main Menu then Devices then Mobile and enter your user name andpassword, and set the Server Port to 18600. This port also needs to be forwarded to the IP address of theDVR along with the ports from 5.2.3 Network Setup.Explanation: You can only see one channel at a time when viewing from a mobile phone. Thespeed of the display depends on the speed of the internet connection.When accessing from a mobile phone with Windows Mobile operating system, use the followingprocedure:1. Webcam installationFirst you need to install the webcam program that is included on the CD that comes with the DVR bycopying the “QQeye.CAB” file to the mobile phone. You can do this by attaching the mobile phone to acomputer and copying the file from the CD to the memory card on the phone, or by copying the file from thecomputer to the phone’s memory card through a memory card reader or through a Bluetooth connection.Enter into [Main menuÆ Device ÆPTZ Setup] toselect the PTZ channel you want to control and set PTZprotocol (Pelco-D, Pelco-P), Baud rate (1200, 2400, 4800,9600), Data bit (8, 7, 6, 5), Stop bit (1, 2), Parity Check(None, Odd, Even Mark Space)and address coderespectively.
