Network Switch Installation Guide 35Hardware InstallationConnecting the Power• Ensure that the socket outlet is installed near the equipment and be easilyaccessible.• The power cord must have safety ground pin or contact that is suitable for theelectrical outlet.• The power supply cord(s) must be plugged into socket outlet(s) that is/areprovided with a suitable earth ground.CAUTIONAC Power SupplyThe switch is equipped with two slots for power supplies. Depending on your needs, you may optto use one or both PSUs at a time. Once an AC power cord is connected to a power outlet, theswitch power is turned on. The Power LED lights green.NOTE:• This switch is equipped with 2 AC power connectors on the front and rear panels.
