The settingsin this screen enable you to set up Dial-up, Virtual PrivateNetwork (VPN), Proxy, and General Packet Radio Service(GPRS) connections so you can connect to the Internet oryour corporate network.With a data connection, you can browse the Web, downloadE-mail, chat using MSN Messenger, or synchronize wire-lessly with the server. Check with your service provider tosee if a data connection has already been set up for you,and if over-the-air configuration is supported.Dial-up ConnectionsYou need to set up a dial-up connection to connect directlyto the Internet or to your corporate network.To create a dial-up connection to the Internet:1. When in the Home screen, select Settings > DataConnections.2. Press the Right Softkey to open the menu in the DataConnections screen and select Edit Connections.3. Select Dial-up Connections in the Connectionsscreen.4. In the Dial-up Connections screen, select Add from themenu.5. In the Add Dialup screen, enter a name for the connectionin the Description field.6. In the Connects to field, select The Internet.7. Enter the appropriate information for the remaining fields,and press the Done softkey.
