This is our recommended horizontal vent-ing installation. Addition of any horizontal venting beyond 48inches (1219mm) Hearth & Home Technologies strong recom-mends a minimum of 60 inches (1524mm) of additional ver-tical vent. Horizontal sections of vent pipe should have a 1/4inch (6.35mm) rise per foot.Hearth & Home Technologies recommends any installationrequiring more than two 90° elbows, or more than 15 feet(4.5m) of venting to use 4 inch (102mm) vent.NOTICE: These are guidelines for successful venting of your pellet appliance. The more vertical rise you can obtain inyour system, the better it will perform.
