Place the child restraint in the rear-facing position on the vehicle seat.Recline the child restraint by usingthe alignment sticker located on bothsides of the restraint. Align the blackline parallel to the ground (Fig. B).• This child restraint MUST be in thereclined position when installed rearfacing.2. Lift the cover to open the rear facingbelt guide farthest from where thevehicle belt will be buckled (Fig. C).3. Pull the vehicle belt out, then routethe lap potion of the vehicle beltacross the child restraint passingthrough the rear facing belt path. (Fig.D).• The lap portion of vehicle belt MUSTbe routed under cover and passedthrough the rear facing belt guides onboth sides.4. Route the shoulder belt across seatthen through the opposite rear-facingbelt path and under the support bar.5. Verify that the vehicle belt is nottwisted, then buckle (Fig. E).6. Push the child restraint firmly into thevehicle seat while removing slackfirst from the lap portion of thevehicle belt.
