Calibration HeatNet Control V3Page 83CalibrationThe calibration of the Futera III/Fusion-Series boiler should only be performedby a licensed technician.To enter the calibration menus, place the S2 switch on themain control board to the CAL position.Be sure to set this switch back to NORM when thecalibration is complete, otherwise no external control inputswill work (except T1-T2), the display will always indicateCALIBRATE and some of the runtime temperatures willnot be displayed.The MINIMUM VFD setting, the MAXIMUM VFDsetting, and the Ignition setting can be adjusted in thecalibration displays. The values can be changed whilerunning ONLY IN MINIMUM FIRE (any, but only one ofthe T inputs closed). Prior to ignition, the values may bechanged, but the blower will not operate.The Low Fire Hold switch is located near theCalibration switch.Press the arrow keys until MIN VFD is shown in thedisplay, along with the minimum percentage value at whichthe boiler is to run at min fire. While in Standby (no call forheat on inputs), the minimum percent may be preset. To setthe minimum rate while running, any (1), and only (1) of the(T) inputs must be closed in order to set the boiler toMINIMUM fire. Press the SELECT key for approximately1 second. The Percentage value will start flashing,indicating that it can be adjusted. Adjust the Minimum valueto the desired setting using the arrow keys. The Minimumsetting is clamped to its lowest rated setting and cannot beadjusted below this. Once you are done with this setting,press the SELECT key until the value stops flashing. Thenew setting is now saved.Press the Arrow key to select the IGNITION percent. TheBlower speed will be set here to provide the rate forignition. While in Standby (no call for heat on inputs), theIgnition percent may be preset, before firing the boiler. Toset the ignition rate while running, any (1), and only (1) ofthe T inputs must be closed Pressing the SELECT key herewill cause the IGNITION setting to flash and the boiler willramp to the ignition setting. Adjust it using the arrow keysand then press the SELECT key until the value stopsflashing. The new setting is now saved.
