Playing DVDs/Audio CDs22 Chapter 2A BA-B RepeatA-B Repeat lets you define a specific segment on the disc that you wantto repeat. For example, you might like to watch the dogfight in themovie Top Gun. To watch this scene over and over:1. Find the spot on the disc that is a few seconds before the beginningof the scene you want to repeat.2. At the beginning of the scene, press A-B REPEAT to set the A point.3. When you get to the part of the disc that you want to be the end ofthe repeated segment (the B point), press A-B REPEAT. The segmentwill repeat until you turn Repeat off.Notes: The repeat feature does not work with some discs.Subtitles near point A or B might not appear.Angle feature does not work during this feature.How to Cancel RepeatThere are two ways to cancel Repeat:• Press A-B REPEAT untilOff appears on the screen• Eject the disc.Program/Random Playback for Audio CDsThis playback feature is used for audio CDs only. You can arrange theorder of tracks on the disc using Program Playback or Random PlaybackTo use Program Playback:1. Insert an audio disc and press PLAY MODE when the disc is stopped.2. Press the left or right arrow to select the Program option.3. Press the down/left/right arrow to select the programming position.Use the numbered buttons (0-9) to enter the Track numbers. Repeatthis step to enter other programs.Note: You can only enter the total number of tracks on the disc. If you tryto enter a track higher than the number of tracks, the program will notaccept it.4. Press the down arrow to highlight Program Playback and pressENTER or PLAY on the remote.Notes: Program Playback appears on the screen and the programs play backin the order you selected.Don’t forget to place the audio disc in the stop mode if you want to changethe Program Playback lineup.5.
