When the TV finds an active channel, itplaces it in the Normal channel list; inactive channels (weak stations orchannels with no signal at all) will be removed from the channel list. If you areusing a cable box and have set up the GUIDE Plus+ system, this option doesnot appear.List and Labels Displays a control panel that lets you edit your Normalchannel list and choose a six-character label for each channel. Follow the on-screen directions to enter your channels and other information.Channel # Use the up and down ar rows to scr oll up and down thr oughthe channels available via your antenna. Y ou can enter the channel numberdirectly using the number buttons.Normal List Only the channels included in the Nor mal list ar e availablewhen you scan up and down using channel up and down. Use the up anddown ar row buttons to indicate whether the channel number indicated isincluded ( Yes) or is not included ( No) in the Nor mal channel list.Channel Label Use the up and down ar row buttons to enter a six-character label for each channel. The TV can stor e up to 45 labels in memor y.Autotuning Displays a choice list that lets you set up the TV to automaticallytune to the correct input channel when you press a component button (VCR1,DVD, VCR2, SAT•CABLE, etc.) on the remote. Go to Chapter 3 for details aboutthe Autotuning feature.Time MenuSleep Timer Displays a control panel that lets you select the amount of timeyou want to give the TV before it shuts itself off.Schedule Displays a control panel that lets you set up a schedule for turningthe TV on and off automatically.
