Due to this, reduce the quality of your photographsbefore recording on a disc in order not to impede the proper running of your player. This isbecause excessively loaded pictures would slow down or might prevent the proper functioningof the slide show during playback on your player. Compatibility of JPEG files depends on thesoftware on which they were created and on the size of files expressed in pixels. Some JPEG files,including continuous JPEG files (displayed in stages) cannot be played on this player.Video CD (VCD) discsVCD (Video Compact Disc) discs enable up to 74 minutes of VHS quality video associated withstill pictures, audio tracks and interactive menus to be recorded on a CD.Super Video CD (SVCD) discsSVCD (Super Video Compact Disc) discs comply with standard IEC62107, making it possible torecord up to 70 minutes of digital images and sound at standard MPEG-2 for video and MPEG-1for audio. Compatibility of SVCD discs depends on the MPEG coding software, the disc designsoftware, as well as the recording software used and the discs themselves.DVD-R and DVD-RW discsYour player can play DVD-R and DVD+R (single recording) and DVD-RW and DVD+RW(re-recordable) discs. Recordings on DVD-RW discs must be made in DVD Video mode.Recordings on DVD+RW discs must be made in accordance with the specifications for the 4.7GB capacity DVD+RW disc format. Compatibility is dependent on which DVD writer, writersoftware and disks are used.Important: Despite considerable progress made in providing compatibility with as many different discsas possible, reading of discs not conforming to Audio CD, Video CD and Super Video CD (S-VCD) discstandards cannot be guaranteed.
