That code tells the software the program's age-based rating(TV-MA, TV-14, etc.) and content themes [(Violence (V), Adult Language (D,etc.)]. If you have blocked lhe rating and/or conl_.nt themes that the programcontains, you will receive the message, '"I'llis channel is not approved tk>rviewing," when you tune lo that particular channel.Broadcast_.rs are not required lo provide conl_.nt themes, so programs receivedwith no content themes will only be blocked if you block their age-based rating.You can also block out programs that have been given a rating of "Not Rated,"and programs that are considered %mrated" because no code has been sent bythe broadcaster.
