Each saved frequency is assigned achannel.BanksA bank is a storage area for a group of channels. Yourscanner provides 10 banks (1 to 10) that can each storeup to 20 channels, for a total of 200 channels. You can usethe banks to group and organize frequencies.For example, you could program the frequencies used byyour local police department starting with Channel 1 (thefirst channel in bank 1) and program the fire departmentfrequencies starting with Channel 21 (the first channel inbank 2).
