NOAA broadcastsyour local forecast and regional weather information on oneor more of these channels in your area:To listen to a weather station, slide CB/WX/PA to WX andselect one of the above channels.When the CB radio is set to CB, WX or PA (MON), and youenter a NOAA broadcast area, WX/ALERT indicates threepossible situations:OFF — No weather signal detected. Check anotherchannel.RED — Normal weather signal. No emergency broadcast.Flashing RED — Weather alert broadcast on the selectedchannel. Turn to WX to listen, or press PTT or UP/DN to clearthe alert.To verify reception, your radio must receive a test oremergency alert broadcast. The National Weather Servicebroadcasts a test alert every week.
