26front of the cooker is supported on the feet, not thefront roller, to prevent accidental movement of thecooker.Leave the levelling tool on the adjuster with thehandle of the tool facing the rear of the cooker,so that the customer can use it if they wish tomove the cooker.Replace the drawer by locating on side runners andpush in.Fitting a stability bracketA stability bracket or chain (not supplied by withthe cooker) should be fitted when the cooker isconnected to a flexible gas supply. When fitting a stability bracket read theseinstructions together with the leaflet supplied withthe bracket.A wall face, B levelling rollers, C levelling feet, D pencilline on floor1. Place the cooker in its intended position andlevel the cooker.2. Draw a pencil line 100mm from the front edge ofthe levelling feet.3. Mark the centre line for the bracket bymeasuring 550mm from the left hand side of thecooker.4. Lower the front roller and move the cookerforward.5. Measure back from the pencil line 550mm tolocate the front edge of the bracket. Fix thebracket to the floor.6. Measure the height from floor level toengagement edge in back of cooker. Add 3mm tothis dimension and assemble the stability bracketto this height. (i.e. from floor level to undersideof the top member) and ensure the bracket doesnot foul anythingGas ConnectionThe Gas supply needs to terminate with a downfacing bayonet. The rear cover boxes limit theposition of the supply point.Because the height of the cooker can be adjustedand each connection is different it is difficult to giveprecise dimensions. Ideally the house supplybayonet should be in the shaded area shown in thediagram. Although a 900mm hose can be used, a1250mm hose will allow slightly more flexibility inthe positioning of the bayonet and make moving thecooker easier. The hose should be fitted so that bothinlet and outlet connections are vertical so that thehose hangs downwards.view from the rearA position for gas supply connectorB appliance gas inletThe connector is located just below the hotplatelevel at the rear of the cooker. The connection hose must be suitable for the gasand pressures used and conform to the appropriatestandards. If in doubt contact, your supplier.Screw the threaded end of the hose into the gas inletin the underside of the connector block on the backof the cooker. After completing the gas connection, check thecooker is gas sound with a pressure test. Whenchecking for gas leaks do not use washing up liquid -this can corrode. Use a product specificallymanufactured for leak detection.Pressure TestingThe gas pressure can be measured at one of thehotplate burner injectors. Lift off a burner head. Fitthe pressure gauge to the injector. Turn on thehotplate burner and turn on and light the grillburner.
