See the ‘Cooking Tips’ section.Check that the door seal is not damaged and that thedoor is held firmly against the seal.Oven not coming onIs the power on? Is the clock illuminated? If not, theremay be something wrong with the power supply.Oven temperature getting hotter as the cooker gets olderIf turning the temperature down using the oven controlknob has not worked, or has only worked for a shorttime, then you may need a new thermostat. This shouldbe fitted by a service person.The oven light is not workingThe bulb has probably burnt out. You can buy areplacement bulb (which is not covered under thewarranty) from a good electrical shop. Ask for a 25 W –230 V lamp, FOR OVENS. It must be a special bulb, heatresistant to 300 °C (Fig.6-1).Before removing the existing bulb, turn off the powersupply and make sure that the oven is cool. Open theoven door and remove the oven shelves.Unscrew the bulb cover by turning counter-clockwise. Itmay be very stiff (Fig.6-2).Taking care to protect your fingers with a glove in casethe bulb should shatter, unscrew the old bulb.Screw in the new bulb; screw back the bulb cover.
