People withrespiratory or allergy problems should vacatethe area for this brief period.VentilationThe use of a cooking appliance results in theproduction of heat and moisture in the roomin which it is installed. Therefore, make surethat the kitchen is well ventilated: keep naturalventilation holes open or install a poweredcookerhood that vents outside. If you haveseveral hotplates/burners on, or use the cookerfor a long time, open a window or turn on anextractor fanMaintenance• Only a qualified service engineershould service the appliance and onlyapproved spare parts should be used. Itis recommended that this appliance isserviced annually.• Before replacing the bulb, turn off thepower supply and make sure that the ovenis cool.• DO NOT use cooking vessels on thehotplate that overlap the edges.• Unless specified otherwise in this guide,always allow the cooker to cool and thenswitch it off at the mains before cleaning orcarrying out any maintenance work.
