Connect your USB keyboard and mousedirectly to the USB keyboard and mouse con-sole ports on the front panel of the SwitchManunit.2. Connect the male VGA connector (HDDB-15pin) from your monitor to the console VGA porton the rear panel of the SwitchMan unit.3. If using speakers, connect the male 3.5mmplug to the SPEAKER (green) port on the rearpanel of the SwitchMan unit.4. If using a microphone, connect the male3.5mm plug to the MIC (pink) port on the rearpanel of the SwitchMan unit.Connecting the Computers5. Connect the B-type USB connector plugof one of the provided cables to the PC1 USBport on the rear panel of the SwitchMan unit.Connect the other end of the cable (the USBA-type connector plug) to an available port onyour USB computer or to a USB hub that isattached to your computer.6. Connect the VGA plug of the providedcable to the monitor port in the PC1 area onthe rear panel of the SwitchMan unit. Plug theother end into the video port on your computer.7. Connect the speaker plug of the samecable to the speaker port in the PC1 area panelon the rear panel of the SwitchMan unit. Plugthe speaker plug at the other end of the cableinto the speaker port on your computer.8. Connect the MIC plug of the same cableto the microphone port in the PC1 area on therear panel of the SwitchMan unit. Plug the MICplug at the other end of the cable into the MICport on your computer.9. Repeat steps 6-9, connecting the remainingports of on the rear panel of the SwitchMan unitto the ports of your computers.10. Plug the included power adapter into an ACpower source, and then plug the power adaptercable into DC port on the rear panel of theSwitchMan unit.11. Power ON your computers. Your operatingsystem should recognize the SwitchMan KVMswitch and automatically install the HID USBdriver if it is not already installed on your com-puter.Connecting USB Peripheral Devices12. Connect USB devices such as printers,cameras, etc., to the HUB ports on the frontpanel of the SwitchMan unit.Notes:> SwitchMan's default link is to the firstcomputer powered ON in the installation.> You may have to enable USB support onyour system BIOS for full support. Pleaserefer to your computer's user guide or yourmotherboard user guide for further detailson how to enable USB support.Hot Keys: Hot Key combinationsallow you to use designated keycommands to switch computers,connected USB devices, and micro-phone/speaker. InstallationImportant: Before beginning installation, power OFF all devices and ensure that all devices are properly grounded. Failure to do so may result in dam-age to computers and/or to the SwitchMan unit. Note: Avoid placing cables near machines such as fluorescent lighting, air conditioning equipment, etc,that create electrical noise.
