This is a perfectly normaleffect that can be seen with all color Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs).In common with all Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD units, the screenmay exhibit a few (less than 7) wrongly illuminated pixels. Thesemay appear as black pixels in a light area of the screen or as coloredpixels in black areas.Water ingressWater ingress disclaimerAlthough the waterproof rating capacity of Raymarine productsexceeds that called for by the IPX6 standard, water intrusionand subsequent equipment failure may occur if any Raymarineequipment is subjected to commercial high pressure washing.Raymarine will not warrant equipment subjected to high pressurewashing.DisclaimersThis product (including the electronic charts) is intended to be usedonly as an aid to navigation.
