Range shiftThe Range Shift function enables a specific area of the watercolumn to be displayed on-screen.In the below example the top 20 feet of the water column is notdisplayedUsing range shiftThe default setting adjusts the display to keep the bottom in thelower half of the screen. Alternatively you can shift the imagewithin the current range.From the application menu, with Range set to Manual:1. Select Range.2. Select Range Shift.The range shift dialog is displayed.3. Adjust the setting to the required value.You will see the range changing on the screen as you adjustthe setting.4. Select Back or press the Ok button to confirm the setting andclose the range shift dialog.17.9 Fishfinder scrollingThe fishfinder image scrolls from right to left. You can pause thescrolling or adjust the scroll speed, to ease placing of waypointsor VRMs onscreen.Scroll speedYou can adjust the speed at which the fishfinder image scrolls. Afaster speed provides more detail which may be useful when youare looking for fish. If you select a slower speed the informationremains on the display for longer.Scroll pauseYou can pause the display to see a ‘snapshot’ of the fishfinderimage. When the image is paused scrolling stops but the depthindication continues to be updated.Adjusting the scroll speedThe default scroll speed is 100%, the scroll speed can beadjusted following the steps below.From the Fishfinder application menu:1. Select Presentation.2. Select Scroll Speed.The Scroll speed numeric adjust control is displayed.3. Adjust the scroll speed to the required setting.Adjustment increments are as follows:• 10% increments for values between 10% and 100%• 100% increments for values between 100% and 500%4. Select Back or Ok to confirm and close the numeric adjustcontrol.Pausing the screenThe Fishfinder application can be paused.From the Fishfinder application:1. Select Menu.2.
