Consult the individual control datasheets supplied with your heater paperwork. See theFig. 30: High Limit (Manual Reset)Fig. 31: Flow SwitchFig. 32: Operating ControlLow Water Cut-Off (Optional)The low water cut-off automatically shuts down theburner whenever water level drops below the level ofthe sensing probe. A 5-second time delay preventspremature lockout due to temporary conditions suchas power fluctuations or air pockets.Fig. 33: Low Water Cut-OffHigh and Low Gas Pressure SwitchesThe low gas pressure switch (standard) connectionmounts upstream of the gas valve to ensure that suffi-cient gas pressure is present for proper regulator per-formance. The low gas pressure switch automaticallyshuts down the heater if gas supply drops below thefactory setting of 5.0 in. WC for natural gas, and 10.0in. WC for propane gas.The high gas pressure switch (optional) connectionmounts down-stream of the stage-1 gas valve. If thegas pressure regulator fails, the high gas pressureswitch automatically shuts down the burner.General Safety Section for safety precautions con-cerning domestic hot water applications.
