WarrantyCALIFORNIA, U.S FEDERAL, ANDCANADA EXHAUST ANDEVAPORATIVE EMISSIONSCONTROL WARRANTY STATEMENTYOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONSThe California Air Resources Board (CARB), U.S.Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Environmentand Climate Change Canada and HusqvarnaProfessional Products, Inc. are pleased to explain theexhaust and evaporative emissions ("emissions") controlsystem warranty on your 2021-2022* small off-roadengine. In California, new equipment that use small off-road engines must be designed, built, and equipped tomeet State's stringent anti-smog standards. HusqvarnaProfessional Products, Inc. must warrant the emissionscontrol system on your small off-road engine for theperiods of time listed below provided there has been noabuse, neglect or improper maintenance of your smalloff-road engine or equipment leading to the failure of theemissions control system. Your emissions controlsystem may include parts such as the carburetor or fuelinjection system, the ignition system, catalytic convertor,fuel tanks, fuel lines (for liquid fuel and fuel vapors), fuelcaps, valves, canisters, filters, clamps and otherassociated components. Also included may be hoses,belts, connectors, and other emission-relatedassemblies. Where a warrantable condition exists,Husqvarna Professional Products, Inc. will repair yoursmall off-road engine at no cost to you includingdiagnosis, parts and labor.MANUFACTURER′S WARRANTY COVERAGEThe exhaust and evaporative emissions control systemon your small off-road engine is warranted for two years.If any emissions-related part on your small off-roadengine is defective, the part will be repaired or replacedby Husqvarna Professional Products, Inc..OWNER′S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES• As the small off-road engine owner, you areresponsible for performance of the requiredmaintenance listed in your owner’s manual.Husqvarna Professional Products, Inc. recommendsthat you retain all receipts covering maintenance onyour small off-road engine, but HusqvarnaProfessional Products, Inc. cannot deny warrantycoverage solely for the lack of receipts or for yourfailure to ensure the performance of all scheduledmaintenance.• As the small off-road engine owner, you shouldhowever be aware that Husqvarna ProfessionalProducts, Inc. may deny you warranty coverage ifyour small off-road engine or a part has failed due toabuse, neglect, or improper maintenance orunapproved modifications.• You are responsible for presenting your small off-road engine to a Husqvarna Professional Products,Inc. authorized servicing dealer as soon as theproblem exists. The warranty repairs shall becompleted in a reasonable amount of time, not toexceed 30 days. If you have any questions regardingyour warranty rights and responsibilities, you shouldcontact Husqvarna Professional Products, Inc. inUSA at 1-800-487-5951, in CANADA at1-800-805-5523 or send e-mail correspondence toemissions@husqvarnagroup.com or warranty@hpp-emissions.com.WARRANTY COMMENCEMENT DATEThe warranty period begins on the date the engine orequipment is delivered to an ultimate purchaser.LENGTH OF COVERAGEHusqvarna Professional Products, Inc. warrants to theultimate purchaser and each subsequent owner that theengine or equipment is designed, built, and equipped soas to conform with all applicable regulations adopted byCARB and EPA, and is free from defects in materialsand workmanship that causes the failure of a warrantedpart for a period of two years.WHAT IS COVEREDREPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS: Repair orreplacement of any defective warranted part will beperformed at no charge to you at a brand authorizedservicing dealer. Except for repairs and replacementunder this Emission Control Warranty, you may choosea repair shop or other person to maintain, replace orrepair emission control devices and systems. However,Husqvarna Professional Products, Inc. recommends thatall maintenance, replacement and repairs of emissioncontrol devices and systems be performed by a brandauthorized servicing dealer.IMPORTANT:This product is compliant with U.S. EPAPhase 3 regulations for exhaust and evaporativeemissions. To ensure EPA Phase 3, California AirResources Board and Environment and Climate ChangeCanada regulation, we recommend using only genuineproduct branded replacement parts. Use of non-compliant replacement parts is a violation of federal andstate laws.WARRANTY PERIOD: Any warranted part which is notscheduled for replacement as required maintenance, orwhich is scheduled only for regular inspection to theeffect of "repair or replace as necessary" is warrantedfor 2 years (or time defined in the product warrantystatement, whichever is longer) from the date ofpurchase by the initial consumer purchaser. Anywarranted part which is scheduled for replacement asrequired maintenance is warranted for the period of thetime up to the first scheduled replacement for that part.994 - 008 - 30.01.2021 17 |
