• If the spark plug is dirty, clean it and make sure thatthe electrode gap is correct, refer toTechnical dataon page 56.• Replace the spark plug if it is necessary.7.7.3 To do a test of the ignition module1. Disconnect the spark plug cable from the spark plug.2. Disconnect the spark plug from the cylinder.3. Connect the ignition tester to the spark plug cap andground the clip to the cutting equipment.4. Use the knob to adjust the distance between the 2electrodes to 6 mm.Note: 6 mm is 6 marks on the scale.5. Pull with force in the starter rope handle.6. If the ignition operates correctly, you see a clearblue spark between the electrodes. If you do not seea spark or if you see a weak spark, refer toTroubleshooting on page 52.7.7.4 To do a test of the short circuit cable1. Remove the 2 screws and remove the handle cover.2. Disconnect the short circuit cables.3. If there is no spark, disconnect the short circuitcables.4.
