To ensure EPA Phase 3 compliance, werecommend using only genuine Husqvarna brandreplacement parts. Use of non-compliant replacementparts is a violation of federal law.YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONSThe EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency),CARB (California Air Resources Board), EnvironmentCanada and Husqvarna Forest & Garden are pleased toexplain the exhaust and evaporative emissions controlsystem’s warranty on your 2019-2020* small off-roadengine. In California, new equipment that use small off-road engines must be designed, built, and equipped tomeet State's stringent anti-smog standards. HusqvarnaForest & Garden must warrant the emissions controlsystem on your small off-road engine for the periods oftime listed below provided there has been no abuse,neglect or improper maintenance of your small off-roadengine or equipment leading to the failure of theemissions control system. Your emission control systemmay include parts such as the carburetor or fuel-injection system, the ignition system, catalytic convertor,fuel tanks, fuel lines (for liquid fuel and fuel vapors), fuelcaps, valves, canisters, filters, clamps and otherassociated components. Also included may be hoses,belts, connectors, and other emission-relatedassemblies. Where a warrantable condition exists,Husqvarna Forest & Garden will repair your small off-road engine at no cost to you including diagnosis, partsand labor.MANUFACTURER′S WARRANTY COVERAGEThe exhaust and evaporative emissions control systemon your small off-road engine is warranted for two years.If any emissions-related part on your small off-roadengine is defective, the part will be repaired or replacedby Husqvarna Forest & Garden.OWNER′S WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES• As the small off-road engine owner, you areresponsible for performance of the requiredmaintenance listed in your operator’s manual.Husqvarna Forest & Garden recommends that youretain all receipts covering maintenance on yoursmall off-road engine, but Husqvarna Forest &Garden cannot deny warranty solely for the lack ofreceipts or your failure to ensure the performance ofall scheduled maintenance.• As the small off-road engine owner, you shouldhowever be aware that Husqvarna Forest & Gardenmay deny you warranty coverage if your small off-road engine or a part has failed due to abuse,neglect, or improper maintenance or unapprovedmodifications.• You are responsible for presenting your small off-road engine to a Husqvarna Forest & Gardendistribution center or service center as soon as theproblem exists. The warranty repairs shall becompleted in a reasonable amount of time, not toexceed 30 days. If you have any questions regardingyour warranty rights and responsibilities, you shouldcontact Husqvarna Forest & Garden in USA at1-800-487-5951, in CANADA at 1-800-805-5523 orsend e-mail correspondence toemissions@husqvarnagroup.com.WARRANTY COMMENCEMENT DATEThe warranty period begins on the date the engine orequipment is delivered to an ultimate purchaser.LENGTH OF COVERAGEHusqvarna Forest & Garden warrants to the ultimatepurchaser and each subsequent owner that the engineor equipment is designed, built, and equipped so as toconform with all applicable regulations adopted by EPAand CARB, and is free from defects in materials andworkmanship that causes the failure of a warranted partfor a period of two years.WHAT IS COVEREDREPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS: Repair orreplacement of any warranted part under the warrantymust be performed at no charge to the owner at awarranty station. Warranty services or repairs will beprovided at all Husqvarna Forest & Garden distributioncenters that are franchised to service the subjectengines. Throughout the emissions warranty period oftwo years, Husqvarna Forest & Garden must maintain asupply of warranted parts sufficient to meet the expecteddemand for such parts.WARRANTY PERIOD: Any warranted part that isscheduled for replacement as required in themaintenance schedule, is warranted for the period oftime prior to the first scheduled replacement point forthat part. If the part fails prior to the first scheduledreplacement, the part will be repaired or replaced byHusqvarna Forest & Garden at no cost. Any such partrepaired or replaced under warranty is warranted for theremainder of the period prior to the first scheduledreplacement point for the part. Any warranted part that isnot scheduled for replacement as required in themaintenance schedule, is warranted for two years. If anysuch part fails during the period of warranty coverage, itwill be repaired and replaced by Husqvarna Forest &1111 - 002 - 21.03.2019 23
