32 Regency Gemfire™ Gas FireplaceINSTALLATIONWARNING!Do not overtighten the screw.Recommended to gripthe wrench by the short side.15) Turn control knob to the “OFF” position.16) Remove the black protection cap byhand from the high-low knob (Fig.1).17) Insert a 5/32” or 4mm Allen wrench intothe hexagonal key-way of the screw(Fig. 2), rotate it counter-clockwise untilit is free and extract it.18) Check that the screw is clean and ifnecessary remove dirt.19) Flip the screw (Fig. 3).20) Using the Allen wrench as shown inFig.4, rotate the screw clockwise untilsnug, do not overtighten.21) Verify that if the conversion is fromNG to LPG, the screw must be re-assembled with the red o-ring visible(Fig. 5).22) Re-assemble the black protection cap(Fig. 6).WARNING!Also check that the pilot andmain burner injectorsare appropriate for the gas type.Fig. 1Fig.2Fig.3Fig.4LPG ConfigurationRed o-ring visibleFig.5Fig. 623) Attach the label "This unit has beenconverted to LPG (or ULPG)" near or ontop of the serial # decal.24) Replace yellow "NG" label with red"LPG" or ULPG label.25) Adjust aeration settings according to thefuel type.NG 13mmLP Full open 22 mmULPG Full open 22mm26) Reverse steps 11-127) Check for gas leaks.28) Check inlet and outlet pressures.29) Check operation of fl ame control.30) Check for proper fl ame appearance.
