10 ENGLISHPREPARING FOR USEMachine PackagingThe original packaging has been designed and constructed to protect themachine during transport. We recommend keeping the packaging materialfor possible future transport.Preparing for use1 Remove the coffee bean hopper lid and the drip tray with grill from thepackaging.2 Remove the machine from the packaging.3 For best use, it is recommended to:• Choose a safe, level surface, where there will be no danger of over-turning it or being injured.• Choose a location that is sufficiently well-lit, clean and near an eas-ily reachable socket.• Allow for a minimum distance from the sides of the machine asshown in the illustration.4 Insert the drip tray with grill to the machine. Make sure it is fully in-serted.Note:The drip tray collects the water that comes out of the dispensing spoutduring each rinse/self-cleaning cycle as well as coffee that might be spilledduring beverage preparation. Empty and clean the drip tray daily and eachtime the full drip tray indicator is raised.Caution:NEVER remove the drip tray when the machine has just been turnedon. Wait a couple of minutes, since the machine will carry out a rinse/self-cleaning cycle. |
