Standardized models.3.4. Options.Depending on the selected configuration, the equipment can in-clude any of the following options:3.4.1. Isolation transformer.The isolation transformer, provides a galvanic isolation that al-lows isolating the output from the input completely.The installation of an electrostatic shield between the primaryand secondary windings of the transformer provides a high levelof attenuation of the electrical noises.The isolation transformer can be installed at the input or output ofthe UPS from SLC TWIN RT series and it will always be locatedout from the equipment enclosure.3.4.2. External maintenance manualbypass.The purpose of this option is to isolate electrically the equipmentfrom mains and critical loads, without breaking the power supplyto the loads. Therefore, in this way the maintenance or fixingtasks can be done in the equipment with no interruption on thepower supply energy to the protected system, at the same timethat unnecessary risks are avoided to the technical staff.The basic difference between this option and the manual bypass in-tegrated in the own UPS enclosure in models of higher power ratethan 3 kVA, consists in a better manoeuvring, because it allows acomplete disconnection of the UPS from the installation3.4.3. Integration in IT networks bymeans of the SNMP adaptor.The big IT systems based on LANs and WANs that integrateservers with different platforms, they have to include an easyway of controlling and management at the manager system dis-posal. This facility is got through the SNMP adaptor, which iswell-known by the main software and hardware manufacturersThe available SNMP option for SLC TWIN RT series is a card tobe inserted into the slot that the UPS has in its rear side.The connection of the UPS with the SNMP is internal meanwhilethe connection between the SNMP and the IT network is donethrough a RJ45 connector 10 base.3.4.4. Parallel cable kit.The parallel cable kit is used to make the parallel communica-tion control between two equipments of the same power rate thatmakes a system.3.4.6. MODBUS protocol.The big IT systems based on LANs and WANs, many timesthey require that the communication with any device to be inte-grated in the IT network has to be done by means of an industrialstandard protocol.One of the most used industrial standard protocols in the marketis the MODBUS protocol. SLC TWIN RT series is also ready tobe integrated in this type of environments through the external“SNMP TH card” device with MODBUS protocol.3.4.7. Telescopic guide kit for rackcabinet assembling in.There is available only one model of telescopic guide kit for allmodels, suitable for any type of rack cabinet.These guides allow installing any unit of the TWIN RT equipmentand their possible battery modules, in case of extended back uptimes, as it was a rack with its respective cabinet.USER MANUAL
