Close the shut-off valve in the pipelinewhile the valve is being installed.2. Remove the protective caps from thevalve ports before installing the regula-tor.3. Lift the valve using suitable lifting equip-ment to the site of installation. Observethe flow direction through the valve. Thearrow on the valve indicates the directionof flow.4. Make sure that the correct flange gasketsare used.5. Bolt the pipe to the valve free of stress.6. Mount the actuator.– Diaphragm actuator DN 15 to 100Push the actuator stem (11) through thehole in the crossbeam (8) onto the spig-ots of the bellows (5.1).Align actuator stem (11) and fasten withthe nuts (9). Observe the tighteningtorques specified in section 7.5.– Bellows actuator DN 15 to 50Remove the crossbeam (8) from thevalve.Push the actuator with actuator stem (11)onto the spigots of the bellows (5.1).Align pillars (8.1) and fasten the actua-tor with the nuts (8.2). Observe the tight-ening torques specified in section 7.5.
