3.3.1 SP.VAThis function enables you to define which reference variables are active: W, W2 and/or WE.When you activate WE, follow-up control will automatically be effective, unless you use WE asinput for the position transmission of a three-step output with external position feedback (F01WE), or for feedforward control (F02 WE).Parameter level allows you to define the desired value of the reference variable (W, W2) and itsmeasuring range ( WINT, WINT). This range must be identical to the measuring range ofthe controlled variable ( IN1, IN1 or IN2, IN2). You may limit this measuring rangewith the parameters WRAN and WRAN. The value of the reference variable can only bechosen between WRAN and WRAN. This also applies in operating level.Choose between:Internal reference variable Wg on W Internal reference variable W, always activeParameters to be setW Internal reference variable WWINT Lower range value for W, W2, WEWINT Upper range value for W, W2, WEWRAN Limitation of W, W2, WE, lower limitWRAN Limitation of W, W2, WE, upper limitInternal reference variable W2g oFF W2 Internal reference variable W2 not activeg on W2 Internal reference variable W2 activeParameter to be setW2 Internal reference variable W2External reference variable WEg oFF WE External reference variable not activeg on WE External reference variable activeg F01 WE WE as input for external position feedback with three-step outputg F02 WE WE as input for feedforward control (in this case, WE is not displayedin operating level! It is only displayed in I-O level; see section 3.9.3).EB 6493-1 EN 27Functions of the compact controller
