8Installation ProcedureEnglishInstallation ProcedureOptional: Fixing the outdoor unit to a wall witha rack• Make sure that the wall can support the weights ofthe rack and the outdoor unit.• Install the rack close to the column as much aspossible.• Install a proper grommet in order to reduce noise andresidual vibration transferred by the outdoor unittowards the wall.Soft rubber designed to cut off vibration fromrack to wall. (not supplied with product)Anchor boltBase surface20 mmCAUTION• When installing an air guide duct, be sure to checkthe following:– The screws do not damage the copper pipe.– The air guide duct is fixed firmly on the guard fan.Step 3 Connecting the power cables,communication cable, and controllersYou must connect the following three electrical cables tothe outdoor unit:• The main power cable between the auxiliary circuitbreaker and the outdoor unit.• The outdoor-to-indoor power cable between theoutdoor unit and the indoor unit.• The communication cable between the outdoor unitand the indoor unit.CAUTION• During installation, make first the refrigerantconnections and then the electrical connections.
