Make sure to read the following safety precautions carefully before installation. Make sure to observe the cautions specified in this manual. Conduct a test run of the unit after installation and then explain all system functions to the owner. The indications and meanings are as shown below.WARNING This indicates the possibility of serious injury or death. Installation must be carriedout by a qualified installer. Installers are required to readthe general informationcarefully for safety. Do not put the unit neardangerous substances toprevent fire, explosion orinjury and do not exposethe unit to direct sunlight. Do not install the unit byyourself (owners).Incorrect installation of theunit could cause injury dueto fire, electric shock andwater leakage or from theunit falling. Consult a dealeror a qualified installer. Install the unit in a placewhere it is strong enoughto hold the product weight.When installed in placewhere it is not strongenough to withhold theproduct weight, the unitcould fall and cause injury. Use the specified wires toconnect the indoor andoutdoor units securely andattach the wires firmly to theterminal block connectingsections so that the pressureis not applied to the sections.Inappropriate connection andfixing could cause fire. Avoid the use of anextension cord and do notshare the power outlet withother appliances. Incompleteconnection, defectiveinsulation or exceeding thepermissible current may causeelectric shock or fire. Make sure that the refrigerantgas does not leak aftercompleting the installation. If the refrigerant gas ofthe indoor unit leaks andcomes into contact with thefan heater, space heater orstove, harmful substanceswill be generated. Perform the installationsecurely referring tothe installation manual.Incomplete installationcould cause personal injurydue to fire, electric shockand water leakage or fromthe unit falling. Attach the electrical coverto the indoor and outdoorunit securely. If not, it couldresult in fire or electricshock due to dust or water. Make sure to use the partprovided or specified partsfor the installation work.The use of defective partscould cause an injury orleakage of water due to afire, an electric shock, theunit falling, etc. Make sure to turn offthe main power whensetting up the indoor unitelectrical circuit or powercords.There is a risk of electricshock.
