using advanced functions _21ENGLISHSETTING TIMERThis advanced Timer function allows you to turn on/off your air conditioner automatically even when you areaway. Simply set the time and your air conditioner will turn on/off automatically.On TimerThis function allows you to turn on the air conditioner automatically within the time range of24 hours. On timer is available while your air conditioner is off.1. Press the On Timer button on the remote control.On timer indicator blinks on the remote control display.2. Set the time you want the air conditioner to turn on automatically.Press the On Timer button on the remote control tochange the time setting while On timer indicator isblinking.You can set the time up to 24 hours, increasing in30 minute unit up to first 3 hours and in hourly unit afterfirst 3 hours.3. Press the Set/Cancel button on the remote control toactive it on.The remote control display will show the hour(s) you have set for 3 seconds andset desired temperature will display.The air conditioner will operate automatically at set time and then On timer indicatorstops blinking and stays on. If On timer is not set within 10 seconds, the air conditionerwill end setting.4. Set the operating mode.Press the Mode button on the remote control until thedesired mode appears on the remote control display.The air conditioner will operate in the mode you set.On timer function is available in Auto/Cool/Dry/Fan/Heat mode.• Temperature can also be adjusted (see step 3 on page 14 for instructions).• All the indicators other than On Timer indicator will disappear approximately after10 seconds after the setup.• When the On Timer setting is done, you can press the On Timer button again to changethe preset time. Press the On Timer button to change time setting and then press theSet/Cancel button to active it on.To deactivate the On Timer1. Press the Set/Cancel button on the remote control while On Timer is on.On timer you set will be canceled and On timer indicator will disappear.
