SPECIFICATIONSG.4Paper SpecificationsOverviewYour printer accepts a variety of print materials, such as cut-sheet paper (including up to 100% recycled fiber contentpaper), envelopes, labels, transparencies and custom-sizepaper. Properties, such as weight, composition, grain andmoisture content, are important factors affecting the printer’sperformance and the output quality. Paper that does not meetthe guidelines outlined in this User’s Guide can cause thefollowing problems:• Poor print quality• Increased paper jams• Premature wear on the printer.NOTES:• Some paper may meet all of the guidelines in this guide and stillnot produce satisfactory results. This may be the result ofimproper handling, unacceptable temperature and humiditylevels, or other variables over which Samsung has no control.• Before purchasing large quantities of paper, ensure that thepaper meets the requirements specified in this User’s Guide.CAUTION: Using paper that does not meet these specificationsmay cause problems, requiring repairs. These repairs are notcovered by Samsung’s warranty or service agreements.
