Connections 97Sharing Information with Connected DeviceTo share Videos, Photos, or other information with theconnected device, follow these steps:1. View the information that you want to share. Forexample, if you want to share a photo, find the photo inyour camera viewer or My Files folder, then touch theShare, Share via, or Send via option.2. Touch the Wi-Fi Direct option.3. Touch the connected device name. For example,Android_49ba.4. Touch Done.5. The file is transferred and the other device will receivea screen notification that a Wi-Fi file has beenreceived. The file can be found in My Files ➔ All files➔ Device storage in the ShareViaWifi folder.Note: Depending on the other device model, the prompts andshared folder information may differ.NFCNFC (Near Field Communication) allows data exchange whenyou touch your device with another compatible device. Thisis used for applications such as S Beam. To activate NFC onyour device, see “NFC” on page 141.BluetoothAbout BluetoothBluetooth is a short-range communications technology thatallows you to connect wirelessly to a number of Bluetoothdevices, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, andBluetooth-enabled handhelds, computers, printers, andwireless devices. The Bluetooth communication range isusually up to approximately 30 feet.
