Contacts 39Synchronizing AccountsFrom the Accounts menu you decide if you want applications tosynchronize, send, and receive data at any given time, or if youwant the applications to synchronize automatically. Afterdetermining how you want the accounts to synchronize, indicatewhich account to synchronize with your Contacts list.5. From the Home screen, tap ➔ Settings ➔ Accountsand sync.6. From the General sync settings section, tap one of thefollowing options:• Background data: allows your phone to use data in thebackground.• Auto-sync: automatically synchronizes your data with the phone.7. Under the Manage accounts heading, tap next to theaccount you want to synchronize with your tablet.8. Tap Add account to create a new account.9. Tap an account type to add.10. Follow the on-screen instructions. The selected accounttype synchronizes with your Contacts list.Contacts OptionsYou can access Contacts options while at the main Contacts Listpage or while in the details page for a specific entry.Options in Contacts1. From the Home screen, tap ➔ Contacts ➔ .2. The following options display:• Get friends: allows you to get contacts from your friends onFacebook, Twitter, or MySpace. You can also get contacts fromCorporate or Google accounts. Tap Add account and then followthe on-screen instructions. For more information, refer to“Synchronizing Accounts” on page 40.• Delete contacts: allows you to tap on each contact that you wantto delete. Tap Delete when finished.• My profile: allows you to set up a profile for yourself. The information willbe the same that you can add for a new contact. For more information,refer to “Adding a New Contact” on page 56.• Set default: when you have multiple contacts linked together, you canmark one of them as default (only displays when contact is saved to thephone). For more information, refer to “Marking a Contact as Default” onpage 61.• More: the following additional options are displayed:– Join contact: allows you to link contacts with other contacts.– Send email: allows you to send an email using your Google account.
