Plug the charging head into a standard AC power outlet.Low Battery IndicatorWhen the battery is weak and only a few minutes of talk timeremain, the battery icon ( ) blinks and the device sounds awarning tone at regular intervals. In this condition, your tabletconserves its remaining battery power, not by turning off thebacklight, but by entering the dimming mode. For a quick checkof your battery level, glance at the battery charge indicatorlocated in the upper-right corner of your device’s display. Solidcolor ( ) indicates a full charge.When the battery level becomes too low, the tablet automaticallyturns off.Switching the Tablet On or Off1. Press and hold (on the upper right side of thetablet) until the tablet switches on.2. Sweep your finger across the glass to unlock the tablet.Note: The display language is preset to English at the factory. To change thelanguage, use the Language menu. For more information, refer to“Changing Your Settings” on page 70.3. To switch off the tablet, press and hold , untilthe Device options screen displays.4. Tap Power off.5.
