It also lets you send instantmessages and emails, make phone calls, and get directions toyour friends locations.Important!: You must sign in to your Google account, enable Wi-Fi, andenable the Location feature before you can use this application.For more information, refer to “Wi-Fi” on page 85.1. From the Home screen, pull down the Notification paneland tap Wi-Fi to enable it.2. Touch and hold on the screen to display the Add to Homescreen menu.3. Tap Widgets ➔ Latitude.4. From the Home screen, touch Menu ➔ Settings ➔Location & security ➔ Use wireless networks and/or UseGPS satellites to enable location services.6. You are now set up and ready to use Latitude.MapsGoogle Maps allow you to track your current location, viewreal-time traffic issues, and view detailed destination directions.There is also a search tool included to help you locate places ofinterest or a specific address. You can view locations on a vectoror aerial map, or you can view locations at the street level.Important!: Before using Google Maps you must have an active data (3G) orconnection.
