43VoicemailVoicemail allows callers to leave voice messages in your voicemailbox, and lets you review, play, and delete your voicemessages any time you are in your Carrier’s network coveragearea.Voice Mail SetupBefore callers can leave voice mail messages, you must first setup your account. For more information, refer to “Setting Up YourVoicemail” on page 7 and to “General Message Settings” onpage 47.Checking your Voicemail1. In standby mode, press and hold until you’reconnected to your Wireless Carrier’s voicemail system. Arecorded message prompts you for a password.2. Enter your password, then follow the recorded prompts, tolisten to your voice message(s), change administrativeoptions, and so on.Tip: You can also access your voice mail by selecting an entry in theVoicemail folder.Message FoldersInboxReceived messages of all types (except Voicemail) are stored inthe Inbox.1. In standby mode, press the Messages soft key, then selectInbox, to open the Inbox folder.2. Highlight a message, then do one of the following:• To delete the message, press the Erase soft key.• To view the highlighted message, press OPEN thenproceed to Step 3.• To access other options, press the Options soft key. The followingoptions appear in the display:– Reply — Lets you compose and send a message to the sender.– Reply With Copy — Text Message only — Lets you reply to amessage and include a copy of the original message.– Forward — Lets you forward the message to other E-mail addressesor mobile phone numbers.– Lock / Unlock — Blocks or allows erasure of the selected message.– Add To Contacts — Lets you add the addressee numbers or E-mailaddresses to your Contacts list.– Erase Multiple — Deletes selected/all unlocked messages from theInbox folder.– Message Info — Lets you display status information about amessage.
